Double trouble

Been working on a story today about a street in Carlisle where there are some unenforceable double yellow lines. Naturally when motorists found out they could park there without getting a ticket they overcrowded both sides of the road - making it difficult for delivery drivers to get to their destination.

It was an oversight by the county council but steps are being made to get the required traffic regulation order in place to spoil everybody's fun within the next month or so. Watch this space
