Clip clop

Nice to see some sun today, but it has been very windy. Not inspired to sit outside for long. I was wind-blown just collecting a few salad leaves.

Eerily quiet here today - as the road to Appleby is now closed to make way for the ‘FlashingLane’ there is no through traffic . I dread to think what it is like in Appleby. We get a few ‘clip clops’ going past every so often - just as a reminder.

Finished reading ‘A Tale for the Time Being’ by Ruth Ozeki. A book I’ve had for a long time but have never got round to reading. A strange book, but I loved it.
