Today's the day ...................... to dry in the sun

Will's been out picking elderflowers today - always a special time of the year.

The problem is that they seem to be harder to find each year, as hedgerows get clipped within an inch of their lives.  But he's found a new place to collect them - not far from home - so he's very happy.  This is some of them, out drying in the sun before he makes his Elderflower Wine 2024.

We had lunch outside today - and on impulse, we had some of last year's vintage (see extra).  I have to tell you that it was absolutely delicious - and clear as a bell.  So, fingers crossed that this year is just as good ......................!
