Metz

We’ve now reached Metz which we shall explore tomorrow. 
Our campsite is good , although a little noisy . There are green parakeets screeching around the place. They seem to be all over the place now. Escaped at some point from someone’s house or shop no doubt.  They have certainly made themselves at home in Europe now, just like our garden muntjacs.
Saw all sorts of interesting things on the motorway today. A USA army jeep on a trailer ( extras ) on its way home from DDay 80 I presume, a few million pounds worth of Lamborghini Diablos going who knows where, some bikers from the American Combat Vets Association who go around doing good work for well, American combat veterans, fields of poppies and I just liked the line of trees in the main photo. Looks very French.
