Goodbye Galapagos!

This morning we disembarked the Silver Origin and flew to Guayaquil on Ecuador's mainland.  This is our parting view of the lovely Galapagos Islands as we took off.

We'll be spending the night in a rather grim hotel, and then -- of joy of joys -- we have to leave at the horrifying hour of 2:30 a.m. in order to get to the airport in time for the first of two flights home to Boston tomorrow.  I think it's going to be a VERY long day!
