The Glow

There is something utterly bewitching about fresh-cut wood, and magical about the idea of a house that is actually made out of this stuff; it glows with life and light, is imbued with presence and warmth. Of course it is a delight to photograph, though it took me awhile to find the minimalism and simplicity that does justice to the glow. Though the house has a few days (maybe weeks) before a solar-powered bulb stutters into life, it looks like someone has already turned the lights on.
