Enclosure

Now the bones of the roof go up, and the enchantment of the cabin as a gallery of wood-being-wood, a glowing installation in the forest, is reconfiguring into something more obviously functional; the enclosure of space/light/dark/voices/sleep/wakefulness that make a human habitat.

In the above image I like how the camouflage trousers of the man on the ladder act as a 'trompe l'oeil', since they are almost the same pattern/colour as the trees in the background outside, so they appear at first glance to be a little window. I have to do a little double-take each time.
