Released

The main photo is of a mouse that we caught in our house and this is him just after he was released and before he scampered off into the undergrowth.
The extra is of a Brimstone moth that I very nearly stood on in our conservatory. I gently picked him up and released him outside where he fluttered off.
I don’t think we’ve ever had pet mice but we have had rats, hamsters and gerbils in the past.
I think, rather surprisingly, that there aren’t too many songs about people and their pets.
