Gooseberries!

It's that time again. Gooseberries are in, abundant and green, tart yet tempting. I was given two lots of these hairy, sharply sweet fruits today, one bowl from 'Granny' Sheila and another from Ivan, who left a bowl in our Staffroom with the invitation to help ourselves!
