Journies at home

By journiesathome

The tree fell in a March storm, right across the little footbridge where the Béal tumbles down a rocky bank into the river.

The boys from the Mairie had it sorted within a couple of days, the tree sliced up and the wooden bridge fitted back together.

In a stroke of genius, normally beyond the imaginative capacity of Fonctionnaires, they arranged the cut trunk into a little circle bordering on the Pagan.

And each day the tree grows back a little.
