Puffin Corner #61

Arrived at the car park and it started to rain as soon as we turned the engine off!  Luckily it didn't last too long, but it was really cold and blowing a hoolie!  
We saw far more puffins than we normally do here which was wonderful. At one stage there were 11 of them landing and taking off from this grassy bank.  There's another one in flight in extras. Normally I really struggle with them in flight as they are so fast and small, but the wind made it way easier today. 

We are staying at Field House Farm which is only a couple of miles up the road from Bempton and have discovered that they have a barn owl that hunts over the fields at the back of the farm. We did go out and wait a while for it to come back, but it started to rain and got very dark. Maybe tomorrow night.....
