Gorgeous Gannets #62
Another fabulous day at Bempton. Today it was all about the Gannets. I do love seeing them and today they were having lots of fun pulling up grass and fighting over it.
In the afternoon we went to Bampston beach to see the Sand Martin colony there(extra) - they are way too quick for me to catch in flight, but a couple of them landed in front of their nest hole, allowing me a reasonable shot.
After a nice meal at The Ship Inn at Sewerby, we arrived back at our accommodation just in time to see the owl go out hunting, and we also saw a couple of deer and a fox. This place just gets better and better. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera to hand so we just enjoyed the wildlife.
