Battered but beautiful

Cut MrM's hair first thing. Been cutting his hair since the beginning of the first lockdown and, as a YouTube-trained 'hairdresser', I'm still a little nervous about doing it. He seems pleased with today's effort, thank goodness!

A pottering sort of day after that. Went out into the garden a couple of times between showers, but achieved very little. A week or so ago it looked as though there would be lots of flowers on this aster plant. Now there are two flowers, both battered on to the ground by wind and rain. The other buds have been 'removed', presumably eaten by slugs or birds, who knows!

Still coughing horribly...
