Getting things in perspective

A visit to Nuenen village, Van Gogh’s birthplace and from 1864 to 1865 his work place. We saw his family home, the upgraded museum and had a guided tour of the village. This is where he created his masterpiece, the Potato Eaters and we learned about his rather sad life, his extraordinary work and his early death at age 37.
