Blue and Lonesome

It was W's sister's last full day visiting us and once again, the weather this morning was awful.  However, by lunchtime it brightened up so we managed to get out.  We took her to Blakeney for a walk around the quay and then on to Glandford to see the latest displays at the Birdscapes gallery (mainly linocuts and etchings; not really my style).   Finally, we headed off to the 'Natural Surroundings' cafe and wildlife gardens where we had a lovely walk.

At the pond there were lots of dragonflies flitting around but too quickly for me to take a photo.  However, this Blue Darter settled on his own on a nearby leaf so I was able to get a shot of him.
