Agitated swan

Another cold day - I had to get a warmer jacket out of the cupboard after packing away my warmer jackets a few weeks ago in the hope that I would not be needing them. When I walked past the lake the resident swan was at the water's edge when suddenly a dog came rushing up and jumped in next to the swan - the poor swan got quite agitated but soon realised the dog was just having a swim and was not coming after it. Still, I would not have allowed my dog to swim next to a swan and frighten it like this.

I received a reply from our council after I replied to the complaint about the dog barking, and they said they would ask the complainant to confirm the address where the dog lives - so I assume a few people in our road received this letter of complaint. I never hear any dog barking around here so I am not sure where this will go.

I started doing some research on Munich for Tommy, apparently it is ranked as the third most livable city in the world, with low crime rates and many green space. It is also the most expensive city in Germany for rental accommodation. Mind you, London is so expensive everything else seems manageable in comparison. I read today that the UK has the highest housing costs in the English speaking world, on average a quarter of disposable income is spent on housing.

Xena received a lovely surprise in the post today of some home made doggie biscuits from Laura for her birthday last week. She was all excited when I got the post out the post box and I could not understand why, she had obviously smelt the biscuits!
