Mono Monday - Virtual friends

This is a textile work with the title "Virtual friends", rather large, hanging on a wall in the main library in Uppsala. This piece of art is created by Berith Sahlström. The persons are authors, probably discussing literature. Some of them are international names, as Simone de Beauvoir, Germaine Greer, Jamaica Kincaid and Judith Butler. Most of them are Swedish authors; Selma Lagerlöf, Kristina Lugn, Ellen Key, Per-Anders Fogelström and so on.

Pinkhairedlady is hosting the MM with the theme "a hobby you enjoy".

My hobby? Reading of course, Uppsala main library is a favourite place for me, but I use to visit libraries everywhere I have a possibility. :)
