Yacht MA (Mangusta)

The yacht has been in the harbour for several days, and we went to admire it from a distance. This view was from Ocean Terminal, behind glass.  Walked down there in the afternoon by the Hawthornvale path, which was out of the wind. 

On from there to look at the Victoria bridge, now open, in extra.  A very fine paint job and a sturdy looking roadway making a new bike pathway; the river underneath could do with a really good clean out. Two mallards roosting on the swan nest. 

It's been more than a year since the tram extension opened, and Leith Walk is much improved; more shops open, more people about, and the tram itself gets much more use than was in the models. Ocean Terminal still looks very underused; few people, half the retail store fronts closed. The closed Debenhams and half the carpark are being replaced; wonder if there's a plan for improving the existing mall.
