A day out
I took M back to the gp this morning as her feet were still rashy and get ankles were disappearing under her fat feet/legs. He didn't seem to concerned and we were pleased when he sent us on our way.
We'd not long been home when the GP rang back to say he'd been thinking it over and couldn't quite get rid of a little niggle that maybe she should be checked over again. Spent the next 8 hours at the hospital having tests. Thankfully we're home now. They thing it's HSP ( ?) which effects the blood vessels. They have to be really careful it doesn't damage the bowels or kidneys but so far looks like both those things are perfect and it's just the rash and legs affected. She's home and seems perfectly well but will have a community nurse check her for a couple of weeks.
In sure it's a worst case scenario but the doc said could take a year for her swollen feet to go down?! Anyone who knows M, knows she will not be pleased to be without get shoe collection for too long! ;-).
Just pleased she's ok. Nhs did a great and thorough job.
