Little Buds Peony Farm
It was more cloudy in the morning so we only spent a short time outside with my A Sue before retreating to the Conservatory. Had a good catch up before saying good bye.
We went to Bredgar Farm shop for lunch and we’re lucky to get a table indoors. Food was good as always and a good price.
We then went to Little Buds Peony Farm. Quite hard to find as it’s out in the sticks. Beautiful flowers of all colours and we enjoyed a walk down the rows in the sunshine.
Had to take the country lanes home as the main road was nose to nose in traffic and hardly moving. Dropped Mum off and loaded the car and started heading North. Not too bad to start with as we cruised past the jam packed roads heading South. Hold ups near Heathrow and a blocked M1 made the journey take 4 hours again.
We did a detour to Dunstable Downs and managed to find a parking space. It’s a shame the main carpark closes so early. Enjoyed our sausage rolls and crisps on a bench watching the world go by. Red kites , gliders and hand gliders soared over head.
Booked in to the hotel and an early night before flying home in the morning.
