A collection

I think four items makes a collection. These sit on the kitchen windowsill and have been collected over four visits to the Netherlands. We have been to Amsterdam three times over the years, for different reasons - the first time many years ago was when Gordon was doing the Amsterdam Marathon. Each visit I went to what was probably the same shop and chose a tiny piece of Delft Blue to take home. 

So, of course, when we were actually in Delft itself a few weeks ago, I had to find a companion piece. Whilst Gordon was climbing the tower I went to the Royal Deftware shop. This piece is the cup on the right of the photo. It is different from the others - possibly more finely painted. I didn't go to the Museum but would like to make another trip and see it
