Chocolate and winning!

The youngest wanted to make a chocolate bar this afternoon. So after his tutoring session (going very well, we all love Helen visits), we melted a bar of chocolate and left it to set as a 'new' bar - with hundreds and thousands for decoration. He loved the experiment.

Our real excitement of the day was a competition win!! The eldest worked very hard on a poster competition for the radio station they listen to. He drew a poster to commemorate D-day, amd I had an email today to say he'd won first prize!!! So delighted for him!! His prize includes a trip to the D-Day story in Portsmouth - which is 3 hours away! So proud of him!
