Any one for tennis?

We headed to St.Andrews today and the beach. Partly because it was a beautiful day and also because I believe that when I watch sporting events they never go the way I want them to...so I didn't want to jinx Andy Murray:-).

Spent a good afternoon on the beach...spoiled last week with our 5 minute drive to the nearest beach...over an hour to get to St.Andrews today. There are nearer beaches but thought they might be pretty packed...St.Andrews large enough to take a lot of people and there were A LOT of people!

Took along our newly acquired BBQ bucket and cooked some sausages and burgers on the sand...mmmmm:-). Buncle got to use his body board again and was talking to a young lady who also had her body board...

So pleased when I checked my Facebook feed at the back of 6 and saw from the various friends updates that had done it...yeah Go Andy! and a decisive result...three straight sets! A Wimbledon Men's Single Champion from just up the road, happy days.
