Bunting

The light conditions were again unpromising today, with rain forecast for later on as the cold North Westerly gradually starts to swing around to a wet (and not much warmer) South Westerly.  It's all my fault of course.  I went and bought a couple of pairs of shorts in early May and since then it has been either very wet or very cold/windy.  I probably need to start shopping for a waterproof down filled jacket - that's bound to sort out a weather change for the better.

In the meantime, here is todays' reed bunting, happily singing away and telling the rival males that they need to keep away as this is his patch.
