Hot and High!

Today I visited a friend, and we had an excellent day! First we walked 6 miles on this beach. The tide was very low, so the nets put out by the set net fishermen were lying on the hard mud, waiting for the high tide to return and bring the salmon with it. Some of the small boats that they use when picking the fish were also sitting high and dry on the rippled mud.
After the walk we went into their hot tub, which was perched high on this bluff. The platform sticking out is the deck that is beside the hot tub.

Next was a lunch with fresh veggies from her garden.

On the way home I saw a moose with twin calves.

What a day.
