Mamhead Wildlife...

Day 2... another really scorching hot day in the mid 30's and by the time I was organised to go in search of wildlife it was already too hot and the butterflies were busy and not interested in landing so I could take a picture..
This young bird obliged in the bushes .. I am not sure what it is will have to look it up on my return...

We went to the 'Turf today for a walk along the canal and a cider or two at the pub which is on the River and you cannot reach it by car only boat, cycle or foot. There is a ferry across the river which is popular too...
