Russia trashed Ukraine’s civilian electricity sector. Ukraine rebuilt and protected it last winter. Russia has bombarded it so badly that it Ukraine has blackouts. Ukraine’s allies are going to give it $1 billion for its energy sector. 

Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium-have committed to providing F-16 aircraft to Ukraine. They will arrive any day. It may be that Ukraine is going after Russia’s air defenses before they arrive. “Ukraine has carried out a string of attacks on Russia's expensive air defense assets that would pose a danger to its prized F-16 fleet once the aircraft are airborne.” 

Armenia has demonstrated that Russia’s influence is waning by disrespecting them multiple times. They are angry because they are in conflict with Azerbaijan and Russia has not intervened to help or stop the conflict. Russia can’t, because it is focused on Ukraine. Now Ukraine will leave Russia’s version of NATO, the Collective Security Treaty Organization. 


Moscow Marjorie proposed an amendment to the annual defense bill that would prevent any assistance to Ukraine. A majority of Republicans voted with Democrats to kill it.
