What’s the weather doing ?

They said it might be ok.
I was heading to Shugborough, after banking some cheques. I was filling up with cheaper fuel when the heavens opened and the deluge was bouncing on the roads. Shugborough? no.

I detoured via the fruit farm (the most delicious jam strawberries at £1.50 a large punnet. Jam ? No. Just eat them)

And then the rain stopped.

I popped into a deserted Croxall Lakes reserve, and saw this heron, just near the car park. 

Since then it’s rained, stopped just long enough for grass mowing…. And who knows what’s next ????
