Good result, bad result.

An IKEA blackout blind, acquired on Wednesday for our other place. One that you cut to size and have to fit accordingly. Took a bit of time but we did well, good result.

Bad result? We waited in until Royal Mail brought the router for our Sky internet and tv contract. The package arrived 10 minutes before the end of 4 hr slot. The “easy to install” equipment wasn’t easy to install, in fact it didn’t work. The helpful tech guy gave up after well over an hour on the phone. The connection was in use for years by the previous occupier, and BT and Sky allegedly did their necessary network tasks yesterday. At this stage a technician is booked to visit on Thursday.

Ours sons watched the opening game in the Euros, the host nation Germany v Scotland. They went to big screen venues with friends, they’d anticipated this day for a wee while. The Scotland team were well and truly outclassed.
