Looking over to Rombalds Moor

Taken from the car on our way to Ilkley from Keighley

Rombalds Moor is an area of moorland in West Yorkshire, England, between the Airedale and Wharfedale valleys. The towns of Ilkley and Keighley lie to its northern and southern edges, respectively.

We went to Keighley today to look at a car, it was a Jaguar, Paula loves Jaguars, but we didn't get it too many little faults she wasn't happy with.

However the journey was horrendous, traffic was nose to tail most of the way with lots of roadworks, it took us two and a half hours to make a 1 hour max journey. So we came home the scenic rout, busy through Ilkley and Otley but not as busy if a bit longer
It was lovely to see all the sheep and cows out in the fields. Round here they tend to be arable farmers so don't see much livestock only a few sheep someone keeps up on a small field on Garforth Cliff.

It was a lovely day though as you can see from the blue sky.

Otherwise took the dog first thing and then changed my bedding but didn't have time to wash today.

Hope you all have a restful weekend and it stays dry for you.
