GETAWAY

Got into work early for assessment scribing and an important meeting. Only to discover 30 mins before the meeting was going to start that it had been changed to Friday!!!!!!
I called the social worker who said she’d sent an email…..no only one with new date but no comment such as please note new date !!! I was livid as I didn’t know how I was going to do in when we were staying off grid for 3 days. Deputy couldn’t do it, head and class teacher away!!
I called back and was very apologetic. Then 5 mins later the secondary school deputy arrived …. Well it obviously wasn’t only me…phew. They had not been informed either.
So I called The Rev to collect me at 3 instead of 4!!! could have been 1oclock!!

#Anyway this is our June getaway accommodation….a Showman’s carriage. It’s set in well maintained grounds and is off grid…which is tricky for us but it’ll be good too.
#It’s very spacious and for me with a broken foot…no stairs inside and a walk in shower.

The Rev had done all the packing and now all the unpacking!!! So we had an easy microwave meal and a glass of wine.

###as the weather was so nice we drove to the beach for a bit of vitamin sea:))) as the sun went down.
