Friday: Hotel Pumps

We enjoyed an excellent greasy spoon breakfast this morning at ‘Cafe Diana’ in Bayswater.  It’s a real homage to Diana, Princess of Wales, with pictures of her adorning every spare bit of wall. 

I did comment to K that Brits aren’t hard to spot sometimes - I was loading up a chip butty as I made that remark. I can’t think of many others who would contemplate this haute cuisine.

We picked up a few things we needed, headed to the hotel to do a quick pack, and then made our way to Heathrow to start the long journey back to Belize.  

Following an 8 hour flight we’re now overnighting at an airport hotel in Newark. Despite the time difference, we did decamp to the bar for a little wind down……..
