Day 12

After yesterday's walk - nearly 16Km, with a height gain of 750m, today has been a rest-&-catch-up sort of day, with a little shopping and a short walk. This Blip shows the main river, the Gave de Cauterets, downstream from the bridge at the northern edge of the town. Our campsite backs onto the river closer to the town centre. We did wonder whether we'd been wise to choose a riverside pitch, but we soon got used to the sound of the water - it's certainly not a gentle murmuring!!
