Happiness Is A Steep Hill

Free to roam for a few days I took Hollie dog to Titterstone Clee Hill and climbed to the top.

Very steep, it left me short of breath, but when we got to the top what breath I had left was taken away...

By the stunning panorama of all of South Shropshire... 

And by the full force of the wind which was absolutely brutal...

Having climbed in many high places such as Scotland and the English Lake District, I can honestly say I do not remember such ferocity. It properly messed my hair up I can tell you ..

We had a fantastic afternoon scrambling around the hillside, viewing the radar domes, and the old quarry workings which are for another day...they can make a decent outing all by themselves...

Great fun and my face is burning from the effect of the wind, positively glowing!
