Ian Paterson

We brought a last-minute cake option for Ian this morning (but couldn't find any candles).  Tomorrow is not only his 89th birthday but also Fathers Day.  Sadly we couldn't stay but I know that Tom and Helen are taking him out for a meal.  There is obviously a lot of re-adjusting to do, and it's going to be very hard for Ian. 

Long 7+ hour drive home, thank you Martin for doing it. The ducks and cat were pleased to see us and I'm happy to now be able to concentrate on more positive plans with my own Dad next week.  xxx
