Landermason

My friends Fiona Lander and Paul Mason (Landermason) performed in Tarset Village Hall tonight as part of their current tour. They are a great duo and sing some folk, some jazz and other styles as the fancy takes them!

It was a dryish evening which was a relief after yet more rain this afternoon.

I managed a walk in the morning, visiting Acomb Woods. They are very lush at the moment and I enjoyed seeing which wild flowers were blooming. Even some of the Martagon lilies were open.

The rest of the day was spent sorting, discarding and shredding. Margret called this afternoon before going to a concert in the Glasshouse (the Sage, Gateshead). The Heath quartet were in Allendale, so there was a lot of choice for music lovers tonight.

Lighting in Tarset was very challenging..........but I loved the interaction between these two performers.
