Orange blossom

Backblip for Saturday 8/6.  Appointment at Eye Casualty this morning - luckily the department was very quiet with it being a Saturday.  Several tests and photos carried out, and then into see the lovely consultant.  Apparently not just a retinal tear, but a fully detached retina. Given information regarding the procedure I would need (I stopped listening at the point that blunt needles were mentioned - urgh!) and told to come into hospital next Thursday. Bad timing as the following week I'm supposed to be going on the singing retreat at Parcevall Hall - apparently that may well be a "no no" :-((.
