Across the sand to the sea

Enjoyable walk along the boardwalk, onto the beach (paddling only, water very cold!), along beach, onto jetty, back along boardwalk into town for lunch of clams and sardines. Home for a couple of hours, then walked down to Carvoiero for dinner with friends and Black & White night. Much quieter than previous years and fewer bands, discos etc. Suprisingly cold wind too, which may have contributed to the quieter atmosphere. As we left, the Young People were all arriving for beach disco/rave/whatever, full of energy and impervious to cold. Walked back home, bed around 1:30 am which is very late indeed for me!
