A bit on the side
The weather was poor again this morning and by the time the sun came out I was doing other things and didn't want to go out, so it's a garden shot. This is the bit which goes around the side of the house; there are lavender plants at the foot of each leg of the pergola and as they are close to blooming it will soon become a bit of a 'no-go' area as the bees take over. Not that they bother you, but there are so many that it isn't really relaxing sitting amongst them.
The Triffids Phormium flowers I blipped a few days ago can be seen at each side of the shot standing around three metres tall; three at the left and one by the wall on the right. The actual blooms themselves aren't very spectacular but the flower spike certainly is!
