Pyramid Orchid

Pyramid orchids have all of a sudden, during the last five years now, appeared in my lawn and I am wondering for how many years have I mown the leaves off without realising there were there!  There are two groups, one has two more flowers this year and I protect them by putting in canes so whoever is mowing sees them before  the inevitable. Pyramid orchids do grow in the area and they probably appeared here in profusion before the house and garden were in existence.
