The Proof. Leica/Lumix Macro-Elmarit 45mm
Previously, I Blipped a little Eclipse magnet which I still have after 56 years. I thought that I'd gotten it in 1967. Today, I spoke with my eldest brother, whom, of course, remembered the whole story of the magnet. He said it was 1969, not 1967, when we went to Pretoria so that our Dad could attend a Radiology conference. Turns out he was wrong too! Here's the proof: the medallion from the conference, with every detail accounted for by the fabulous Macro-Elmarit lens.
BTW, I asked my brother if he still had his magnet. He said he had until quite recently, and had given it to his eldest daughter. Now I'll have to ask her...
