COME RAIN OR SHINE

We had a lazy start then decided to head to the coast (only 5 mins drive from our carriage!) despite the rain . We thought we’d park up and read and watch the waves through the drizzle !!!
#We were eventually directed; by a local, to
Billy’s on the Beach a lovely beachfront cafe. We got the last table for a cuppa before the crowds came on from a torrential downpour!!! We also shared a portion of calamari (probably the best I’ve tasted!)
# then the sun came out and I hobbled down to the beach on my crutches and
#sat and watched the surfers and canoeists battle the waves.
#The Rev got a few good shots for his new website.
Then the rain came again but 5 mins later #back at the carriage the sun was out and we sat outside reading and enjoying a glass or 2 of vino!!
#we decided we enjoyed Billy’s so much we went back for our evening meal…starting we some more calamari!!! We also did the quiz it was fun especially as we aren’t quizzers but it was an interesting one.
