One Swan a Swimming
A lovely walk with Meg along the river bank started before sunset, at half time in the football to be precise. Past experience tells me that there will be no-one about at such times! I remember driving here from Norwich on empty motorways during an England game many years ago.
A gentle day at home and pottery. Before the sun was too warm, I worked my way through the cold frames removing the dead foliage from the pots of bulbs and also assorted weeds whose seeds had blown in. At pottery this afternoon, I had another go on the wheel, more of a struggle to get the clay perfectly centred today but I still ended up with three pieces, each with a degree of eccentricity but I think they will pass muster after some trimming when they have dried out a bit.
