Tonge Hall in Middleton has passed in and out of family ownership since it was built in the 1500s, and now it's owned by the council after a fire some years ago.

And it shows.

The protective covering is about to be completely rebuilt, but I have no idea what will eventually happen to this poor old building.

I hope it gets saved.
