Memories of my recent break in Hay on Wye are permanently milling around my brain, it’s very enjoyable. And is way better and more peaceful than all the election stuff going on!
On our way home we called in at Castel Coch near Cardiff, the fantasy home of Lord Bute. It’s outrageously extravagant - the family lived in it for just one week a year. Nevertheless it’s beautiful, curious and quirky. The extras are just a few of the eye catching sights within.
