Wild Chamomile

Matricaria chamomilla

The field on the other side of the river is growing barley this year. The farmer sprays his crops regularly but the margins are left alone and there's always a healthy show of chamomile, ox eye daisy, clover and other wildflowers. The chamomile is just starting to flower. Lovely! Thanks to Miranda as always.

Three of us in the 5 way zoom chat this morning. One pal is in Italy the other in bed with an upset tummy. I'm fine after the shingles jag yesterday - a slightly sore arm but that's nothing.

Walked in the field after the chat and now home to make a packed lunch. We're off to Glasgow soon.

Our grandson goes to two different nurseries. Today is graduation from the nursery class in the school. Honestly nursery graduation - when did that become a thing? How lovely for us to be included though. I will have many other photos later but not for blip. His second nursery has a graduation at the beginning of August. Our granddaughter has a similar ceremony next week. The school year is drawing to a close.
