Leaving Ireland

We had a bit of time before leaving for the airport - so we went to the National Gallery of Ireland  There were very few paintings that you are permitted to photograph - but amazingly, this was one. An early Van Gogh from when he first went to Paris, of the rooftops seen  from his room. I did like looking at it - you can see, particularly in the sky, clear hints of how he is soon going to paint. It’s a wonderful gallery altogether.
When I got home, I got quite a happy greeting, with lots of purring. And then the usual obstacle to unpacking:-)
