Miltonrigg Wood

As a Father's Day present the girls made a donation to the Woodland Trust in my name.   What a nice move, I am at an age where there is little I want/need and they know I love woods.

To
day we headed back to Brampton to pick up my repaired strimmer.  The problem had been "everything was lose and three bolts had been lost.  The charge was "no charge they shouldn't have come lose in the first place".  From there a visit to the wood, then we called in at Tarn Road Nurseries for Clickychick to photograph flowers.  She has promised copies to the owner

The blip shows the wheelchair/pushchair friendly path leading into the woods.  This section is not very old but there are ancient trees scattered through the wood.
