Village life

A physical sort of day. We spent the morning clearing around an apple tree that had become completely swamped with gorse and brambles and fending off the bastard horse flies. Later we went for a swim - delightful once you're in but it took me a lot longer than Himself. Then I went for a yomp around the circuit to take photos of said colour scheme - see extra and it won't be there long! Arundels, closed on a Tuesday, was looking good in the sunshine. This really is a pub with a view and it's usually packed if the weather is good.
