Growing Together

This is part of a flower bed right inside our gate.  We wanted the flowers and shrubs to complement each other.  We think we have achieved it with the clematis and the two shrubs.

I went for a delightful sunny walk with my friend Clare this afternoon.  We walked all round the local airfield then back to Clare's house for a welcome cup of tea.
